MOUNT IDA
The Gulf of Edremit is the northernmost gulf in the Aegean Sea of Anatolia and is also the name given to the region located between Mount Ida and Madra Mountains, which form the coastline of the gulf.
CULTURE
With its rich history, the region boasts a wide range of cultural diversity.
HISTORY
With its rich history dating back to ancient times, the region has been home to Troy and many Greek and Roman settlements
GALLERY
Tahtakuşlar Ethnographic Gallery was established in 1991 as an ethnography gallery. Since that time, two more units have been added, namely the maritime and painting departments. The most notable pieces are the tent and the turtle.
